Cold temps, but mostly sunny skies were on tap for today's trip to Ogunquit/Wells.One of the first birds seen, and certainly the bird of the day, was the Dovekie that swam right into the cove at Perkin's cove, giving everyone an excellent look.
Another highlight was the Gannets that were seen flying and diving off shore from the Cliff House. We also made the short trek down to the Nubble Lighthouse to look for the Snowy Owl that had been seen there recently. However, those efforts were in vain. None-the-less, it was a wonderful day.
In attendance were: Tom & Susan Hayward, Bonnie Soper, Nancy Muir, Linda Seamans, Dan Marquis, Steve Reed (leader & recorder)
