The Stanton Bird Club will hold a walk Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Sabattus Pond in Sabattus. Please note, we will meet in Sabattus at the Sabattus Antique Mall parking lot (not on the road) to meet at 8:30 (NOT 8:00). We will NOT be starting from Staples in Lewiston. The Antique Mall is set back from the road right across from the south end of Sabattus Pond on route 126.
This is always a great walk, and lots of ducks are in, hundreds of them. We will visit at least three and maybe more locations around the lake for best views, and will walk a gravel road on the east side. We will meet even if it is drizzling, but if there is a steady rain at 7am and it is projected to continue to 10am, the walk is canceled. The walk will end by 11am but you may leave early if desired.
