Leader’s Choice, Scarborough Marsh, May 21st
It was a beautiful day; sunny and warm. Not many shore birds, since the tide was high.
Probably the bird of the day was the Peregrine. We first saw it sitting on a post, preening, behind the Pelreco building. And later we saw it on the wing along the Eastern Trail (assuming it was the same bird.)
On the way home we stopped off in Lisbon to look for an Orchard Oriole that had been reported there. We did not find the Oriole, but we did add a number of birds to our tally.
