Is summer here already, it was a great walk. And some good birds, more than in recent days. Apparently a number arrived overnight (most, but all, do migrate at night). Today eleven people birded the Papermill Trial in Lisbon. We saw 44 species, a few for the first time this year … Northern Parula and Black-throated Green Warbler among them. Yellow-rumped Warblers were literally everywhere. But the Bird-of-the-day goes to the Vesper Sparrow who was very cooperative.
