Terrestrial Invasive Plant Dynamics and an Introduction to iMapInvasives and Early Detection Rapid Response

Chadd Hammer, Invasive Plant Biologist, Maine Natural Areas Program.

Hammer earned an M.S. degree in Forestry at The University of New Hampshire (UNH). While at UNH, he conducted research on the invasion patterns and impacts of terrestrial invasive plants on streams and riparian forests.   As administrator in Maine for iMapInvasives he will share information on this central repository for invasive plant data and how it can serve as an effective tool for conservation groups and land owners managing invasive species on their property.
