Ardent birders, Dana Little and Judy Marden, will lead us in our search for signs of spring and the American Woodcock. Woodcocks and easiest to find at dusk in the springtime, when the male performs a marvelous display flight, or “sky dance.”
Parking is available across the street in the Baptist church parking lot. Wear appropriate clothing and boots for mud and wooded areas. Tall socks are suggested to avoid ticks. Bring a headlamp or flashlight.
