Thorncrag is a place to explore the hidden wonders of the natural world

This program is designed to engage students aged 6 – 12 in natural history as observed in the Thorncrag Sanctuary. The theme this year is “Wild and Wonderful” and will focus on a different aspect of nature each day including pond studies, mammal activities, birds, insects and plants. Each day will include a hike and crafts related to the day’s topic.
Students should wear suitable clothing as they will be outside, rain or shine, every day. Each student should also pack a daily snack, as food and drink will not be provided.
