Hallelujah Farm on June 3

Written June 4, 2026 By Christine Murray

A great day at Hallelujah Farm in Lisbon. Ten people came on the walk, the temperature started in the low 60’s and ended up in the 80’s with clear skies. We had a good selection of swallows, Barn and Cliff nesting in the barns, Tree in nesting boxes and Bank Swallows swooping about with all the others over fields that were brimming with bugs. Bobolinks were singing in the air and on fence posts all over, males chasing females and disappearing into the tall grass. The buttercups and pinks made splashes of color in the fields.

A hawk getting mobbed.
Tree swallows.
