For the 6th year Stanton Bird Club will be offering ‘Thorncrag Nature Week’ from July 17-21. Running from 9:00 AM to Noon, the program is designed to engage students aged 5-10 in natural history as observed in the Thorncrag Sanctuary. Each day will focus on a different aspect of nature including ponds, trees, birds, insects and will include a hike and a craft activity related to the day’s topic.
Students should wear suitable clothing as they will be outside, rain or shine, every day. Each student should also pack a daily snack, as food and drink will not be provided.
The Program will consist of one class, limited to 10 students with at least three adult instructors. Registration is $25 per student and is on a first come – first served basis. DOWNLOAD A REGISTRATION FORM
