Another beautiful day, dry, no wind, temp in the 60s. Ten people
attended the walk on the Androscoggin River Trail in Lisbon. The birds
were very accommodating. They called and sang and then many times showed
off for us. We had great looks, often long looks, at Baltimore Orioles
multiple times, a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Eastern Kingbirds,
Red-eyed Vireos, lots of Yellow Warblers, American Redstarts, and
Chestnut-sided Warblers, and others. We had 42 bird species. However we
did not see even one raptor and very few ducks.
