All week the weather prediction was for a dry morning with low humidity
… we had a light drizzle nearly all morning with comfortable
temperatures in the high 60s. But we really did not get wet as the
drizzle dried quickly. We had 21 people including visitors from Maryland
and Colorado, hopefully we found a few good birds for them. The birds
were excellent. Hi-lights included a well seen Common Loon, at least 5
Bluebirds, we heard a Cuckoo which we seemed to settle on being a
Yellow-billed. There were many Yellow Warblers with a few other warblers
too. All in all it was a very nice walk with 40 species being seen or
heard (H).

Wood Duck – female and 3 young, and likely one more

Common Merganser – 1 flying up river seen only by a few at the end

Cuckoo – 2 heard, not certain which but leaning towards Yellow-billed

Common Loon – 1 summer plumage in Andro River

Bald Eagle – 2nd or 3rd year, flushed from perch, only seen by folks in
