Too rainy for you this morning? Too bad–it was simply amazing!!
Two areas of fallout: the (rechistened) “Warbler Path” on the brook side of the cemetery (B&W warblers, Magnolia, Black-throated blue, Pine, Chestnut-sided, Northern Parula), and around the Bates Puddle (a “flock” of Yellow-rumps, five Yellow Warblers and a Common Yellowthroat!). And then there was the Cooper’s Hawk who tried to nail a Yellow-rump right in front of us as we perambulated the puddle. What a morning!
37 Degrees, light rain turning to moderate rain.
Observers: Judy Marden (Leader and Recorder), Christine Murray (Leader), Steve Reed (Leader), Christina Tiberi.
