Another great day, just like summer, even a bit too hot. Eleven people
gathered at Chuck and Ellen Peter’s home to walk their woods and area.
At first the birds were quiet but as the morning went on we found a good
number. Hi-lights include a male Canada Warbler who kept rummaging
around a single tree looking for bugs and singing nearly all the time.
We also had a very cooperative Great Crested Flycatcher, who also called
numerous times. And one porcupine sleeping in a tree totally ignoring us.
