On a warm breezy day 17 people met at the Fitzgerald Preserve in
Brunswick for a nice bird walk. We did not find the Clay-colored Sparrow
which has been there in previous years but has not been seen or heard
this year. We did have many Prairie Warblers, many Field Sparrows, a few
Eastern Towhees and other birds singing. A number of hawks flew over as
did one or two Indigo Buntings and Scarlet Tanagers. A total of 41 birds
