Trip results for the paddling trip on Hooper Brook.
Judy Marden – Leader , Dan Marquis – Recorder

It was a beautiful day (of course, it was Mother’s Day). It was very warm, with the sun playing Hide ‘n Seek with the clouds. Nine people took advantage of this joint trip with the Androscoggin Land Trust, and the birds that came with it. A couple highlights were a pair of Tree Swallows working on a nest in an old snag, and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker excavating what may have been a nest cavity. We also saw two Canada Goose nests with sitting geese, although they were very well camouflaged.
