Yet another great day for a spring bird walk. Twelve people came to Ina
Small’s farm in Litchfield and we indeed found great birds …. just
Ina’s ever so many feeders was better than many walks … multiple
Orioles, Pine Siskins, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Red-bellied Woodpecker,
and so much more. As we walked we found a Blackpoll Warbler, saw two
Blackburnian Warblers, and a pair of Scarlet Tanagers. The weather was
sunny and just about right. In all we had 60 species, a record high for
our walks. We all thank Ina for a great morning with so many birds.
