It was both cool and windy this morning as we walked John Schott’s
preserve in Greene. But the sun was out often and so were the birds. The
best birds included a male Scarlet Tanager who just sat in the sun and
was still there when we moved on. Also two male Wilson’s Warblers and
two Brown Thrashers. We also had cooperative Bobolinks. However the
variety of warblers was still too low.
We thank John Schott for allowing us to bird his wonderful property.
