The day was bright, but with a cold start; only 29 degrees at 8:00. The temp eventually got up to 35, and with no wind, it was a good trip. We visited Lake Auburn, the river behind Yvon’s Car Wash, and Sabattus Pond. Most small bodies of still water were frozen, including all we could see of The Basin. None-the-less, we had some good bird sightings.
