January 9th 2016…Southern Coast
Participants Dan Marquis, Judy Marden, Doug Boyd, and leader Steve Reed
A beautiful day for birding. We stopped at Marginal Way, Ogunquit and Nubble Light, York.
As we were leaving Nubble Light, a talkative woman named Ginny invited us to watch birds from her magnificent home.
overlooking the lighthouse and York Beach. (if you’re interested, here’s a link to a story about her and her husband)
We enjoyed the tour and Dan ID’d a Black Guillemot and a Red-necked Grebe from a Bay window in her living room.
