It did not rain in Lisbon this morning, much to our relief. It was
cloudy and slightly cool but no wind or rain. Nine people came for the
walk at the Packard-Littlefield Farm.  Most of the crops had been
harvested and the ground plowed over so we did not have as many birds in
the gardens as in past years. Still it is always nice to walk loops on
both sides of the road with a variety of habitats. The best bird may be
the one Lincoln’s Sparrow but there were a number of White-crowned
Sparrows, all immatures. We had a total of 29 species, not including the
chickens. We thank Joe and Sue Daley for allowing us access to their
wonderful farm.
