We had a nice walk this morning at Pineland Farm. Twelve people attended
and we stayed as one group, a bit strung out. The weather, given the
alternatives, was really very good. Yes it was hot but there was a
breeze and it was really a nice summer day in Maine. Our one concession
was to start by walking through the fields and ending by walking through
the woods in the shade.

There was no extra special bird but we did have six warbler species,
many seen together in trees and bushes as we started through the fields.
We also had a Peregrine but it was high in the sky and not right
overhead. We also flushed a small flock of Turkeys with young in the
woods but they did not move far. All together we had 40 species.
