The most perfect day yet this year – full sun, a slight cooling breeze,
good birds and good birders. This was all at Pineland with nine people
attending. The first bird seen was a Red Crossbill, 2 for sure, maybe 3
or even 4, but high in a pine. We had a number of good warblers too.
Even a small flock of Bobolinks. And many Bluebirds. Forty-one species
in all. Then we stayed and had lunch there!
