A perfect day for a bird walk. This morning nine people walked the
Riverside Trail in Lewiston from Sunnyside Park to Tall Pines. Bright
sun but lots of shade and a refreshing light breeze. The birds seem good
too. Instantly as we started we had Red-eyed Vireo at near eye level
plus a Black-and-white Warbler and American Redstart. Later at the
Bobbin Brook outlet we had three Belted Kingfishers together plus a
Green Heron. However in total we only had 32 species.
