It was a beautiful spring day. A little nip in the air as we started, but it warmed up nicely, with sunny skies.
The river was high and running fast, which may have kept the number of ducks down. But it was a good day, and we got to introduce three new people to the joys of birdwatching.

After we split up, Steve and I saw the Peregrine Falcon on the Franco Center cross, as well as fly-bys of a Herring Gull and a flock of Canada geese, bringing the total count to 26 species.
