This morning we walked at the Schott Preserve in Greene, a great way to
start the year. The drizzle ended quickly but the sun never came out and
it was a bit cool. Eleven people attended, fewer than expected which we
blamed on the weather. We only had 39 species but we had good views of
the birds and it was a successful walk.

We thank John Schott for opening his preserve to us and look forward to
returning again next year.
