We missed the rain completely, a few dark clouds passed over but we had a very nice and dry walk at Woodbury. Five people came and the hi-light was two Sandhill Cranes. Not sure if they were adults or young, but as we approached Mud Pond they called and lifted off from our right and flew over head. We also had a Canada Warbler mixed with some Chickadees. Gary Maurer and team have done a great job on the road / trails, and particularly on making the “board walk” (“dock” at the pond) easy to navigate. All in all a very good morning.
