Another nice day for a walk at the YMCA property on Stetson Rd., Auburn.
Eleven people walked the various habitats but only 33 species of birds
were found. One of the better being a Common Loon which flew over
calling. Red-eyed Vireos were quite common, maybe even 10 of them. When
we walk to Bobbin Brook at the far end of the soccer field, most people
continued with some bushwhacking to the bridge on River Road. Perhaps in
the future we will do this via the road!
