Another great spring day, sunny and warm, no wind, no rain, and again
lots of birds. Ten people visited Ina Small’s in Litchfield and everyone
had a marvelous time. The best bird was the Black-billed Cuckoo …
three of them, two seen very well and all three called frequently. Then
there were Baltimore Orioles … maybe 10, all over and seen well over
and over. Bluebirds, not too many, maybe six males … females must have
been on eggs. See the list below, many more were just as wonderful to
see. And a very big thank you to Ina, what wonderful property and so
many feeders.
