What a great day. The morning started bright and sunny with no wind.
As for the birds today, we had a good list of birds but not many of each
species. Some warblers are in and a few were seen very well. We also had
a most cooperative Spotted Sandpiper and Veery. The full list follows,
(H) for heard only. 46 are listed but Gordon had a few more the rest of
us generally missed.

Canada Goose – 2 but yesterday folks reported 5 young, no young seen today?
Wood Duck – Gordon had two fly up river before anyone arrived

Common Merganser – 3 seen well
Rock Pigeon – under the bridge nesting
Spotted Sandpiper – 1 well in the sun
Double-crested Cormorant – 1
Turkey Vulture – 2
Bald Eagle – 1, our last bird as we left
Broad-winged Hawk – 2, one overhead at tree top height
Red-tailed Hawk – 1 in a tree
Belted Kingfisher – 1, maybe 2, very active
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker – 1 (H)

Blue-headed Vireo – 1 well
