On a perfect day for a bird walk, ten people walked the Riverside Trail
in Lewiston from Sunnyside Park to Tall Pines. Birds were few and we
only had 31 species. We did find two Great Blue Herons, both on the
Auburn side of the river. The Northern Mockingbird was still in
Riverside Cemetery along with two Eastern Kingbirds. Grary Cole may have
had a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher but he saw it briefly and no one else got to
see it.
