An unofficial impromptu walk was held today to take advantage of the current migration wave. We started at 7:00 am, with intermittent  sun and clouds, giving way to mostly sun. however, about mid-morning the wind came up an was quite strong a times, sometimes making it difficult to listen for birds.
All in all it was a very good morning, although there were a few conspicuous no-shows; no thrushes or Thrashers, no Scarlet Tanagers, no Indigo Buntings.
But we did have a mini warbler wave with several Parulas and Black-and-whites.  Also many singing Praries, although we only saw one… but it was nice.
Participants: Doug Boyd, Kathy Lawrence, David and Alice Haines, Dan Marquis:Leader and recorder.
